Click. Click click. Click link click. Clickclickclick. Link. Link. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beepbeepbeep (translation – ur doin’ it wrong!)…I can’t believe I just linked this much crap. Or typed out this big a list. Wheeewww doggy, my fingers are cramping. All for a good cause though – the aid Kmont’s shitty memory fund.

I’z tired just thinking about all the reading. But it’s a glad tired. Suffused with joy tired. The kind you have after giving birth and the baby screams. Whaahooooo!!! Look at all those beautiful books! Come to mama! Oh wait, ur not out yet? Well, shit. Guess I’ll try to be patient.

2008’s Most Wanted:

There is, of course, no telling when I’ll actually get to read these and it’s all on top of the fifty or so odd books already in my TBR pile. Like bunnies they are! And the list will likely grow even bigger. Hopefully we’ll be seeing some reviews for a lot of these popping up on the ‘ole blog here.

Till then, what are some of your most anticipated reads of 2008?

I think you’ve got my top 3 on your list – Cry Wolf, The Devil you Know and Hostage to Pleasure.

Not on your list – the YA that Kelley Armstrong has written I think it’s called The Summoning and is out in August.

And I’m a big Jaz and Vayl fan. So one of the books for 2008 for me has to be Bitten to Death, book 4 in that series. Which is also out in August.

End of July through to beginning of September is a feast for book addicts. If you like UF. :)

I’ve been wanting to try the Jaz series. I need to make another list just for older books and series, lol. I was trying to figure out what were my top five at least when making out the list and need to go back and asterisk those selections.

Didn’t you review The Devil Inside? I think so, need to go to your site and look. I loved that book!

Yep, review for The Devil Inside can be found here:-

And Yay! After reading a book this week or the week before where it referred to a man being good but not nice, I’ve finally found out where I’d read that before – The Devil Inside.

Unfortunately I’ve now forgotten which book I read it in, in the past couple of weeks. :( yes, my short term memory really is that bad.

LOL! Oh man, I know what you mean. I call mine Mommy Brain. It’s so true that those things start to slip after kids, but I think I was well on my way before the toddler too. Yep, fellow absentminded reader here too!

Hmm. Lots of interesting titles in there – and lots of those I-must-try-her-someday authors. Too bad I decided not to buy any new books. Except the Musts with a capital M – Lover Enshrined, Faefever, Hostage to Pleasure. Hell, those are already on pre-order and will arrive at my house months before I get back there :-DD.

Ahhh, what a nice thing to have waiting on you at home, lol!

i wish I could say I would be purchasing less books, but then I’d be uber sad too. I just can’t help it, I suppose, lol. Gotta buy the book! I’ll do the library thing once in a while, but they don’t have a very good selection.

LOL, that’s right, Ms. da Costa! You’ve kind of been on my list ever since one of your now-out-of-print Black Lace titles and I am sad to say I let your books slide for a while. But I was looking through my books one day, found that old title (which escapes me since I’m not standing in front of said shelf) and looked up your books on Amazon and the rest is history. I am glad I “rediscovered” your books and am looking very forward to Gothic Heat.
