Pamela Clare Gets The Shine On

2008 April 2

I was just checking out Pamela Clare’s site the other day. Maybe it was Monday. Whatever day it was, it still wore its old clothes. As of yesterday though (thanks to deets via her newsletter) we get to view a whole new, shiny website! And, uh, it’s light years ahead of the old one. Much more easy to read, pleasing to the eye, etc. Good job, Ms. Clare, this site certainly better reflects your talent.

Speaking of talent, her newest release in the I-Team series, Unlawful Contact, might be the only non-paranormal book I’m willing to squeeze into the Freak-ay-ness Challenge! I started yesterday. Not a big fan of romantic suspense here. At all. I usually head for the hills when someone suggests one to me. About the only ones I will pick up after much decision making/hemming & hawing is Linda Howard, Shannon McKenna (a very recent addition to my reading list), and Ms. Hot Stuff – Pamela Clare. If you’re a fan of romantic suspense and you’ve not read Clare’s I-Team series, I highly recommend them. I think one reason I enjoy them so much, or am even able to, is because the suspense elements don’t just barge in and run rampant over the main couple…which unfortunately has been the impression I’ve had with romantic suspense in the past. What can I say, habits are hard to break, let alone first impressions.

Can’t wait to read this one. Haven’t been disappointed yet and I don’t think this latest will start.
